Zipper Pull

Is it possible to replace the zipper pull without replacing the entire zipper?

I'm not just talking about the handle of the zipper pull. I'm talking about the whole pole rack that moves up and down on a rack. My son broke into his winter coat and a nice warm jacket that hardly been used.

It depends on the closure and traction. Sometimes, if the force is all-metal, you can buy a replacement in the same size (and to bring with you) and re-feed the rack. This tends to work better if the zipper is metal, but I had to work on nylon / plastic the metal, not tabs plastic end. You can find replacement zippers fabric stores and some discount stores, but my dry cleaner gives them to me as freely and frequently be fixed (re-feed) to me, too. (A Nice plate of cookies or brownies go a long way when you ask how to fix it.)
