Wind Proof

Wind Proof
It's a windproof coat really necessary when walking?

Or fleece layers and a waterproof layer to do the job? As I see it for the worst cold windy and rainy weather abroad Baselayer I have a technology, an intermediate layer, a layer of wool, then possibly the layer of windproof and finally, the waterproof layer. If this is okay, okay, but if your answers deviate from this can give examples. Thank you and thank you for your patience. Thanks guys so far. I'm going to South America - high, cold and wet occasionally followed by Killamanjaro - wind chill of high humidity. I hope this helps and you can add any information requested.

I have a coat to walk against the wind (for walking, not walking on her own), and that really works, but I think its resistant coating Water is also windproof and waterproof. If in doubt, check with the manufacturer, I realize that my wind-resistant coat is only showerproof.
