Waterproof?

Frogs are waterproof? A few years ago I had a teacher that said "frogs are waterproof if you requested yes or no question. Most of the time I did not know the answer to the question because it was out of my league, and he never told us that the answer to the frogs are waterproof. So, is it?

A frog's skin is not waterproof, frogs can absorb oxygen and water through their skin. Hylid frogs of Australia can be wrapped in a cocoon-proof transparent water to keep moist during summer, when they dig underground to escape the heat of the sun - The cocoon is fact dead skin cells.
