As dog owners long time, for years we have been frustrated with the dog beds currently on the market. Most are made occupy surplus fabric with various materials ranging from wood chips, pellets of polystyrene. None what we consider essential for comfort and non-being of our dogs that the health of our family environment.

For these reasons, we decided to create the final dog bed. This dog bed, aptly named after Dura-Bull my partner's bulldog, Otis (its image in our logo) would have the following characteristics:

Resistance to infestation of pests such as fleas and ticks. Most dog beds cloth and fabric are a breeding ground for pest infestation. And while some dog beds can be washed, this is only a temporary fix to an ongoing problem.

The resistance to the transfer of odors, oils and dirt. Again, most cloth and fabric dog beds act as conduits for the accumulation of odors and the transfer of oils and dirt. And, as pests, this poses a serious health problem.

Ergonomic and skeletal support. Dogs like humans need and deserve a dog bed that will support its membership of the skeleton, especially older dogs. "Fill" dog beds do not offer this support as the position of the dog is allowed to adjust to any angle of the dog bed provides. It is not what is best for the dog.

Easy to clean. For those of us who have dog beds with fabric and experience of washing the deck, you know how much of a hassle it is and after a couple sometimes makes more sense to buy a new dog bed! And if the dog urinates on a dog bed of fabric which could be by the side.

Use indoors and field. There is no reason to have multiple dog beds for a dog. Try using a cloth dog bed out and then have it rain!

Resistance water and climate. Fabric dog beds are a nightmare when wet and definitely not suitable for all weather conditions like rain, snow and extreme heat.

Multiple uses. A dog bed should be easily transportable for use at home, SUV, truck, boat or camp.

We believe that most people buy a dog bed not for his own comfort level of the dogs. Please note, dogs have a fur coat and no do not worry.
