Corrugated cardboard boxes are some of the most widely used forms of transport packaging in the world today. The raw material used for this type of packaging cardboard corrugated (or simply "Board"), and occurs in many ways and with many specifications to suit the corrugated packaging and needs corrugated material transport for a given product and its supply chain, from factory gate to the consumer. Only in the U.S. 95% of all consumer products are shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes, with 75% of this amount from the box material is recycled each year. The basic principle is to use a combination paper and adhesives with different levels of heat and pressure, allowing a variety of types that will occur, with different levels of strength, weight and durability.

Common Corrugated types and uses

A single face Corrugated cardboard: A single line is glued to corrugated half to form a single face - Board. This is commonly seen in packaging for fine china, light bulb, etc.

Single-Wall Corrugated cardboard: Two transatlantic are glued on both sides of the corrugated material to form a single wall board. This is the simplest and most widely used for packaging shipments for a variety of plastic products and food products. This is the picture of consumers found most often in everyday life.

Double Council corrugated wall: When a layer of corrugated material and a coating layer is added to a single-wall cardboard, the resulting product is much more strong and shock absorbing double-wall cardboard. This form is heavier and more expensive and is generally used for ships or bulk, packaged foods, materials as nails and rivets, electrical appliances such as televisions and DVD players and even furniture. For larger and heavier goods, Triple-Wall Cardboard rolling occurs in the same way.

Production

Corrugated cardboard is specifically designed to adapt to products based on requirements. Producers often specifically the design of the type of cardboard that was used for each specific product type, accordance with transportation requirements, weight and strength and shock absorbing properties. Production of corrugated cardboard is simply explained as follows;

1 - The first page of the liner is unrolled and straight heats.
2 - This sheet is passed through high-pressure steam to make light and fluffy.
3 - The road then passed between a set of gears long to create the ridges (or flutes). This process is corrugated corrugating medium.
4 - The queue is then applied to one side (in the case of single-sided board) or any of the parties (in a single wall cardboard) of corrugating medium.
5 - Leaves Coating then unroll and stick to one or both sides of the medium corrugated to form a single sided and single-wall cardboard.
6 - Other layers of corrugated medium and liner are added to the form of higher classifications double wall corrugated cardboard.
