Torch Pink

Has anyone grown red or pink torch ginger flower.?

Information on the web is a bit low, I wanted to find out how high it grows and what is the smallest container that will grow, i dont have that much space.

These guys get BIG! I mean you get to be 6 to 10 ' up here in Southern California and can go much higher in most of the tropics. I saw some that live in Hawaii, as they were 15 feet with ease. Also spread quickly. I would use a pot at least 15 to 20 gallons with depth equal to width. Not the best plant for container growing, start with a single rhizome. EDIT: Think of it as more of a bamboo in growth habit and the idea, high, bow and will take over ground.
