Should I get LED survival light or just regular survivor?

I am a firefighter and want to know what would be better a fire scene.

From what I can see the LED is simply a bulb replacement, similar to those available for Maglite. If this is the case, then you can always substitute a regular Krypton bulb if not adequate. As a tactic of light water resistant quality seems quite high. For what? I always LED opt for first option, mainly due to the battery, especially when working with light may be mission critical.
