Breastfeeding has survival tips for the first week?

I was never able to get through the first week feeding breast my first two children. I was always afraid they would starve because they still had milk. I know you will not be very hungry for the first days, but they shouting?! I really want to establish breastfeeding at this time. Please give me your week 1 tips for survival.

Hello, I have breastfed my two children from 2 years each, and I found that although it is very sore and tired just go through the pain to get the set if it is pain. My first son of my nipples were so cracked the midwife said she had never seen anything like this before and I sat on the bed crying cos I couldnt do it, but then I just went through pain for a couple of days and it got lots better.The main thing to remember is that they are not hungry, it puts a lot of mothers out of B / F, but are well and in a few days there will be lots of milk.I think the biggest mistake bcos it gives them a bottle after the breast is not enough for them best of luck Any questions just ask:)
