What to do with a LiPo battery swollen?

I have two batteries that have swelled Lipo for any reason. I met yesterday and left batteries in the car today and ran at a lower speed to sling dirt on the tires. I have the batteries out of the car to load and they were swollen on both sides. It feels as if in a balloon tight because when I feel I grit cells. My car was inside all the time. Why swell?
