Searching midsize SUV with manual transmission and four wheel drive truck into a platform.?

I am looking for a midsize SUV that has a manual transmission and AWD, which is more truck as the car-like. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Why SUVs and crossovers are now many automatic transmission?

Automatic transmissions have become more fuel efficient than manual transmissions. Only stick shift SUVs are 4 cylinders. According to Edmunds.com, there are 29 SUV models with manual transmissions. Only the Nissan Xterra has a stick shift and that the platform is shared with the Nissan Frontier.
