Best hiking boots for Scouts?

Can anyone recommend a good hiking boot for kids?

Schnurrb ... is absolutely correct. Some of the old standards (hard leather, ankle support, inflexible sole, etc.) do not apply. Now, we want a flexible sole, ankle support low (ankle supports only the transfer of the shock that the knees), and the structure that works with your foot. The downside of this is that the shoe is usually not as durable so a lot of hikers are now buying cheaper shoes and get rid of them after the season, a perfect solution for growing children fast! New Balance shoe offers a great ride, but almost any sport shoes or sport sandals work well unless they are carrying heavy loads. To larger loads, we want a shoe that gives your feet some cushioning and keeps the foot from flattening both.
