I have been visiting Heber Valley for 50 years. Heber is about 14 miles from Park City, Utah. The valley is a green oasis surrounded by mountains and hills. Opinions the back of Mt Timpanogos and the ski resort of Sun Dance are incredible. The boundaries of the valley of Deer Creek Reservoir and Dam Jordanella. Rivers and streams meander across the valley, with fishermen standing calmly in the flowing water trying to outwit a trout.

Main Street Heber Mayberry looks lovely and while driving around town, looking almost Sheriff Andy Taylor walking down the sidewalk.

The Valley is golf, cross country skiing and is near the Deer Valley and Park City Ski Resort. In short, this is a little slice of heaven.

Yesterday, my wife, Sharon, lovely, and I played the recently opened Red ledges Golf Course. Nicklaus designed this gem is the centerpiece of the Red Outgoing project property located a few kilometers from the main street of Heber. Despite all my visits to Heber, I was more than a little surprised to find red rock formations in the golf course.

The course is aimed above, around and through the red rocks, ridges, valleys and hillsides. It has a red rock of southern Utah they feel about it. The terrain is absolutely beautiful. Hawks were flying over us during the round.

The course is tough. Some holes are straight down and others to up. The yards for a hole may be irrelevant, as the holes play down significantly shorter than the card above and holes are 1 to 2 clubs more than the card. There are at least four tee options on every hole, so you can imagine what is best for you. The Lovely Sharon, whose handicap is between 3 and 6, playing the middle tees and shot 82 with a pair of turnovers. I played the back tees and shot by 88 members with a lot of lost balls. I felt I played the output that we were comfortable.

The course is the type you need to play a couple of times to understand where you hit the ball. The practice facility was terrible and there will be a golf school Jim Mclean on the site.

It appears that many parcels, the project has been sold, which is great in this economy.

We had a wonderful time the course and were glad we had the chance to play.
