Pressure Switch

Pressure Switch
Why the pressure switch on my water well in constant decline and disappear?

A couple of weeks I found a hole in a pipe Groundwater in my well water. I started having problems today with the well again. The pressure switch is constantly kicking and every 5 minutes (no exaggeration) I have to go and press the pressure switch to get water to go back on. Any suggestions?

It may be that the air in the tank pressure that has leaked out. If that's the case, there is nothing to keep the pressure (the water can not be compressed. It's just air in the tank is compressed.) What to do? Turn off pump, disconnect the tube that enters the tank. That all discharges of water from the tank (you may need to open a sink faucet to allow air in the tank for the water can drain). Close the tap, reconnect the tubing and start the pump. There should now be enough air in the tank to maintain pressure for a long period of time. Good luck.
