Power supply needed for two 8800 GTS SSC?

I have a Q6600, 4GB RAM, Raptor X, DVD-RW, and two 8800 GTS SSC. I have the system up and running but in the nvidia monitor has all the hardware that food needs to pass in the red. I need help, thanks. Oh, and now, running the cards in a configuration SLI. I have a 850W PSU now. I figured I'd need 1,000 watts. Damn. Those to be expensive.: /
