Person Camouflage

What is the trick photography where a person is "aligned" to blend into the background is called?

I need the time for the illusion optics that occurs when a person is dressed / painted to match the background, and then lined up to merge into what is behind them. Or is that nobody knows of any known artists who do this? I've seen as an exercise, and even Be Kind Rewind (when the character of Jack Black and a ladder are camouflaged against a fence)
