how to braid a keychain of 1 or 2 pieces of rope?

Be prepared is my motto .... looking for a way (number FOB), to transport 20 feet of paracord in my keychain ..... I have seen others, but I do not know how to braid myself ..... Can anyone help?

When I was in the Army used the same pattern used by children at summer camp with plastic gimp .... do a search on it and give you several patterns different from using the problem ......... but I've never seen it done w / o the center of the spinal retired para. Making the center and ties lay much stricter, the disadvantage is that it loses much of the strength of the rope and will spread more easily. Hope this helps
