What jobs can I get in northern Canada with a degree in cognitive psychology?
I want to work in the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or the northern part of the province (except Quebec and the Maritimes). I have an MA in cognitive psychology. I've looked at job opportunities on government Web sites and territories monster.ca Thanks!
Hmm, actually was in a doctoral program in cognitive psychology for 2 years, and recently was because my only option was realistic work 'university teacher'. That said, I think someone with a masters degree would probably be able to get a job making data analysis / statistical work. Some opportunities I've seen including the analysis of education data for the State Gov't., And doing research on the psychology department. of a university. I mean, really, is a research assistant working as advanced, but I think the job would be well if that's what you liked. I've heard of people with master's degrees to get jobs like this, and the opportunities seem to be well paid, especially if they are in the industrial sector. Do you have a strong background in research and data analysis? If so, I would say, give this a look. Sorry, I can not give any specific advice to Canada. Of course, you can always consider getting a doctorate and enter the academy.
