Need Battery
What kind of motor and battery I have to make a human-powered generator?

He had an engine of 350 W AC does not work for this purpose. Do I need a DC motor? Besides, what kind of battery should I use? Clearly there must be rechargeable so I have to go with a battery lead-acid? This system will have a human-powered crank, a motor, a battery, an inverter, and will be required to produce maximum 100W to charge the battery on my laptop through the inverter.

A permanent magnet motor DC would be the simplest. So no need to provide any current field, you just crank the engine. I question the need for an investor if charging a laptop battery. Maybe you can skip the inverter, bypass the standard laptop power supply, and only a DC input. The battery that you choose depends on how long you want it to last. If you are using to charge another battery, I see why you need a battery at all, or maybe just a slight NiCad as a buffer, but I think you can definitely avoid carrying a heavy lead-acid battery. I recommend entry to see what really need the laptop, and then think of a simple circuit to regulate the burden of a simple AC generator.
