How can I use a multi tester to check my battery?

Voy a tester of various function from 7 to use to check the battery the car. I know I should do that, but I have no idea which settings to use.

The car battery will probably be around 12V. Choose a range DC voltage a bit more than that, for example, range of 20V. Do not use a current range or a range CA or resistance (or ring) range or could cause death the counter. A charged battery, and could prove 13.8V If you accidentally short the battery cable going to explode, I did. You can prove a source of fusion, for example, a light. If any active high load current, such as air conditioning or the heater of the screen or full beam lights without the engine running, stress can drop. If less than 11V to say that might not be fully charged. CC Ranges are marked with a symbol of two lines - a solid horizontal line above a line dashed horizontal, as this ------------ - - - - - - --
