8000K HID are around 2500 lumens output, about 3x the light output of halogen. The light output is bluish white. Most popular aftermarket HID conversions are from 6000K to 8000K color temperatures.
10000K HID are around 2300 lumens of output, which is more than 2 times the light output of halogen. The light output is blue violet and approaching.
12000K HID are around 2000 lumens of output, which is more than 2 times the light output of halogen. The light output is bluish purple.
Although you should be warned of the adaptation of HID headlamps meant for halogen bulbs. These are not without setbacks due to differences among scientists HID and halogen. But there are many different HID headlights available makes and models of vehicles, making it very feasible to upgrade almost any of the rides.
