4. Improve performance, efficiency and life expectancy in the cold

Most outdoor lights tend to lose performance and life in colder temperatures - where they seem rather weak or exhausted very quickly in the subzero weather. But LED's are different - not to produce light of a filament, but rather a micro-chip. And as micro-chips work better at lower temperatures, solar LED lights can last 5 to 10 times longer than CFL bulbs.
