Trans Flushing light pink backpack?

I need to know how to wash the bag. Has light soil on it, I've had it for 2 years. I never I wash before. It's pink throughout and has 2 bottle holders on the side. It says on the label, no washing machine and do not use detergent and wash by hand only, but I need to know how to wash this backpack.

I would treat the field with either upholstery or carpet cleaner, then clean with vinegar to neutralize the soap and avoid attracting dirt. You could stop a sponge with the cleaning solution and shake over the surface to remove dirt. This is what I do to clean my face against the soft ballistic material covered Tumi luggage and no harm at all.
