Plastic How can I make a glow material in 3D Studio MAX, as a blinking LED light is inside?

There are several ways ... Is depends on the version you are using it too. Assuming you're in an earlier version, I'll give the easy way. First, put on an omnidirectional antenna small to give the brightness in the surrounding areas (if necessary). Be sure to change the attenuation so that only light a small area. Now, the easiest way to do this is to all other objects in the scene of a matte material, and have only bit that LEDs are supposed to shine. photoshop now open and put the final render layer under the LED. Just use a Gaussian blur and levels (or anything else that works) on the LED for its light. One thing I learned is that it's a hell of a lot faster to do things like that in Photoshop / Max sequels. The other way to do (within Max) is the video later use. Click the object and give it an object number other than 1. (if it is unique within the scene). And now the video input open and add the scene. Now Add a switch, selection and brightness. Change settings so that only concerns the identification of the object you chose above, and hit preview to see effects. Now, add an exit to the queue and click the running man. Messier is a way to do it, but it's probably easier for the animations (which did not mention whether fixed or animated)
