The Green Lantern title refers to more of a superhero from DC comics. At the height of popularity, Green Lanterns were a force for peacekeeping universal, which are thousands and came from different parts of the universe. The comic adventures have traditionally relied on the green with five lanterns assigned to Earth.

The first Green Lantern, Alan Scott, made its debut at All-American Comics in 1940. Alan became a superhero the day he found a lamp magic that gave instructions on how to create a ring of metal. Donning a suit of bright purple, green, yellow and red, Alan said he wanted to create a disguise of "so strange that once they see me will never be forgotten."

Alan Ring not working on any type of wood and had to be recharged every 24 hours at the lamp. His initial pledge was "And I'll shed my light over dark evil dark things can not stand the light .. the light of .." The Lantern Green. "This oath was replaced in 1944 by" In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil will escape my sight! Let those who worship evil could - Beware my power, Green Lantern Light. "That oath became so popular that variations of it have been reused for multiple lamps over the years.

Green Lantern was a popular hero in the 1940s, joining the Justice Society of America, generating its own title, and even gaining a partner, a taxi driver who became famous for stating "When a man crashes doiby me, DAT in the last drop."

The end of the World War II saw the cancellation of Green Lantern, but the title was revived in 1959 after a successful Flash new paved the road. The new Lantern Hal Jordan, a pilot arrogant, who earned his ring from a dying Abin Sur. Unlike Alan Scott, Hal Jordan became part of a Green Lantern Corps, an interstellar army Flashlights governed by the mysterious Guardians of the Universe. Small of stature and blue, the Guardians of Oa operated and will be credited for creating the fueling Starheart Alan Scott's magic lamp. Also unlike Alan Scott, the only weakness in Hal's ring would be against the color yellow.

The biggest enemy Hal Jordan in the early days was Sinestro. A flashlight that worked with Abin Sur and helped train Hal Jordan, Sinestro ultimately grew mad power. After discovering that Sinestro was ruling a planet through fear, Hal had no choice but to become custodians. Stripped of his condition Green Lantern, Sinestro retaliation by wearing a yellow power ring.

Hal Jordan was a founding member of the Justice League of America and two of his closest friends Nearby were the new Flash, Barry Allen and Green Arrow, Oliver Queen. Hal Barry and often partnered in other comics and Hal Barry would be immediately turned the apparent death of his wife. His friendship with Ollie, however, would Hal in a political trip in the prevailing liberal and conservative Jordan fought over ideology, as they face the social problems of the late 60s and 70s.
