What is the best dog for hunting and hiking that is healthy and strong. but it is ugly?

Im looking to buy a hunting / dog walking and need one is healthy and able to walk and run long distances and be able to walk long distances to the hill. I will be able to hot and cold hiking and hunting of poultry and rabbits. but I really do not need the dog. NEED A VERY HEALTHY BREED!
