Hiking Hiker

What do I need to do to be a hiker sponsored? Have you ever stood the AT? Please post hints for hiking?

I plans to start my hike in March 2012 after I graduate. If you've hiked before, what is the best way to pack?

You may be able to collect money if your trip for some reason, but then that money must go toward that cause.
