Hiking Camping

If you are planning a family camping or hiking trip, you will have to think a little about what kind of food to take with you. Not all food remains, and others, and not all are easy to get along. So here are a camping and some hiking food take along ideas ...

1. Fresh or dried fruit. These are especially useful if you have children on the camping or hiking trip. Cut the apples, separating orange slices, or taking Over the nuts is a great nutritious way to easily have food on hand at all times. Pack the dried or fresh fruit in resealable bags, so that can enjoy it for several days of your trip.

However, soft fruit package that bruise or spoil easily. Some types of apples, for example, only good for a day or so before they get too soft. Strawberries and bananas are also good food to laptops.

2. Cut vegetables. These are also very useful for family camping or hiking trips, because they can be cut in advance and put in plastic bags easily transportable. They are also easy to maintain and eat while hiking or sitting by the campfire.

Favorite fruits and vegetables that package also includes carrot sticks, celery, broccoli and cauliflower raw.

3. Dry goods. The easy things, like crackers, cheese crackers, biscuits, butter peanut crackers, and various types of chips or crackers, are great to take a hike or camp. These foods keep well without spoiling, and they are fairly light weight. Be careful not to eat salty foods a lot to do heavy hiking in high heat or desert areas though, as they can dehydrate quickly.

4. Cereal. These are great for take along snacks. The kids love them, but are great for adults too. Often, you can put some dry cereal in a plastic bag or container and will maintain throughout the trip. Try packing a few things different also: square fiber for quick breakfast to get going in the morning, and maybe fruit loops or other cereals and fresh for when you want a sugary snack or need a wave of simple carbohydrates.
