grill cleaning stove burners?

The house we just bought has a counter-top electric stove 2 burners and a grill on it. I do not think these people never clean up after cooking. (The oven is nasty too). Any suggestions on how to clean the top of the stove out with stainless steel scratching?

Zep makes a stainless steel cleaner that is a spray foam application. You can get at Home Depot. To really burned on food stains, you can use a friend Barman, a cleaner made for use in stainless steel and not scratch the surface. I like the Zep because it leaves a nice gloss and a protective layer that makes it easy to clean stainless steel the next time some food or grease gets on it. For your furnace unpleasant, you can use the Easy Off foam extraction cleaner free.
