How long white gas or camping fuel good stay?

I wonder how long alias white gas camping fuel used backpacking stoves in keeping it there. I can not find expiration dates on bottles of fuel sold.

It is likely that any container tightly closed white gas will outlast you. In the wrong container, gas can evaporate slowly, leaks, or contamination with water and debris. In the case of pollution can be easily remedied with a fuel filter funnel (mrfunnel.com).
