Cot Bed
What would be the ideal age to take the rails of the cot bed children?

Does anyone have an idea of what age is best to take the lanes out of a bed cradle, my son is 19 months old now and still likes to sleep against the rails and sleep in a crib on his feet protruding from the bars ... all ideas which would be a suitable age to remove them?

Each child varies in its development. My son is 3 1 / 2 and sleeps with a railing of the bed, although I could probably remove it now because I never sleep on them and is much larger now. For me, 19 months seems young to remove one lane of the bed but do not know of his son. When ready to remove it, you can always put a pillow or a bed on the floor only if it is deployed. He sees something that never put to sleep pattern of a child. If you are sleeping well, let it go. Children go through many developmental periods, so I've always tried go with the flow to sleep - because it is so important for small and for moms and dads too! Best of luck.
