Can I change my combi boiler?

Is it safe to turn a combination boiler off the grid? Mine seems to be defective and is vibrating / Clicky noise and hot water heater and lights are flashing. No hot water. I can not fix it now, so I turned off. But I am a worrier and a bit dense when it comes to gas, so I really need to know if there is gas freed, etc., if it shuts down?

If it will not leak it is gone. Gas leaks of this kind are very rare and very soon you will realize if theirs a problem, you will be able to smell gas. The most common problem with gas boilers and the production of carbon monoxide (odorless, colorless and deadly), however, if your around then this is definitely not a problem.
