when you buy a new dining camping water bottle how do you remove the plastic taste?

Whenever I added about 2-5 drops of bleach per 1 gallon of capacity, not only kill the flavor that disinfects the container. Just be sure to rinse well after. I also do after a trip to kill any germs, after days of water in it. I tried baking soda, but what seems to let me taste. If you do not feel comfortable with the idea of chlorine, sports Miscellaneous / retail stores compressed air whirlpool cleaner bags (such as Camelback), but also a great job in other containers too. and not very expensive.
