Could you put a mini AA flashlight bulb in a Mini Maglite AAA?

I have several mini maglite (AAA and AA versions). I wondered if I could put AA safely krypton bulb in a mini flashlight that has AAA batteries and is supposed to take the vacuum bulb AAA. krypton bulb is twice as bright a vacuum bulb so that's why I want to do this, but could also draw more current than batteires AAA and wondered if it could damage circuits of the torch?



It would not cost much to experience.
