How can you take a photo so that your eyes stay blue instead of turning red?

I have blue eyes and the pictures of me, my eyes turn red. I use the red eye in my camera and an image-editing site (Picnik), although never to its original color. How can I make a photo so it does not turn red and stay Theurer's original color? Thanks for all your help! (:

You have to activate the anti-red eyes in camera ... and if you have a camera that can use an external flash, a single use.
