There is no advantage to an alcohol or sterno stove backpack?

Most backpackers I use a white gas stove. Is there any possible reason I would use an alcohol or sterno stove? Ah, yes. I own a small alcohol stove high price, and is manufactured in Sweden. I guess that explains why the Swedes of European climbers. But every day, taking into account the reliability, usability, and availability of stoves and fuel, either white gas stoves or more fuel are the way forward for most backpackers.
